Mind over matter or Soul over matter?

It has been mind over matter in the past era. Some now believe that this is the era of Soul over matter. Which paradigm closely resembles your experiences?

Soul does not take physical form, therefore it cannot manipulate matter.  But a mind controls the body, which can manipulate matter.  My answer would then have to be mind over matter.

Am just curious, at the sub-atomic level, which keeps the particle together? Mind or Soul/spirit/energy? Or is energy and spirit best lumped along with mind? It has been scientifically observed  that the act of observing itself affects the subject.

Soul is the only source of control over matter because it is superior to all physical reality. As children of the Source of all creation, we have that ability. A mind can no more create mass, energy, space or time than can a rock.

On a subatomic level, I'd say energy is soul itself; its purest form.  What keeps particles together is energy or spirit.  I separate mind & spirit because our meat suits are limited. Spirit/soul is puppeteer of mind...in this realm only.

Mind over matter because of perception. And soul over matter because matter cannot explain the soul. However, is mind over soul?

Thought-provoking answer, Iburmaster! Someone has mentioned that when soul and conscious will are in conflict, eventually soul prevails. Are mind and conscious will the same?

Mind is physical -- perception (effect). The true self (soul) is at creation (cause). All you need to do is to wake it up. But that takes an antidote to ego -- humility and fearless confidence (faith).

      Soul over mind

Mind and consciousness. Quite possibly. However, what is unconsciousness? Is it part of the mind or the soul? Does our soul notice things that we do not know? I agree that soul is over mind because the soul moves on and is not physical.

Soul over matter -- always and forever.

By mind, we usually have the physical consciousness of the Homo sapiens body. We also have the physical construct of the false self known as ego.

Neither of these can have dominion over physical reality. Both are temporary and vulnerable. Both are incapable of creating mass, energy, space or time.

But the true self (spirit, soul, Holy Ghost) within is capable of creation. Why? Because this part of man was created in the image and likeness of God.

The immortal soul (true self) is the only part of man capable of being in such control over matter.

Now, if you're talking about your Homo sapiens body reaching out and picking up something, that's not the same thing. That's ordinary.

But levitation, walking on water, spontaneous healing, and the like, do not come from the physical mind -- ever! It has no more ability to control physical reality than a rock.

I have seen many miracles -- extraordinary events that are cause-and-effect, not accidental.

The spirit has consciousness that is usually asleep. This is the "Darkness" mentioned in the Bible. Sleeping souls require Homo sapiens bodies in order to think and to see. But if ego is eliminated, the true self can awaken and return to the light of independence from physical methods for seeing and moving things.

When Peters stepped out of his storm-tossed boat onto the unsettled Sea of Galilee, he lost all "reason" and "fear." Faith took over -- a perfect confidence that only the soul (true self) can hold. The Buddhist masters understood this with their "paramitas" or perfections.

Being unconditionally loving and forgiving, one of the best service we can give to the world would be to awaken the true self. Aside from Eckhart Tolle's, could you point us to other titles pertaining to awakening the soul or the true self? Thanks
